Taft, TX

In the small town of Taft, Texas the First United Methodist Church was the unfortunate victim of a large wind and hail storm in 2011. The hail and wind took a harsh toll on the rigid asbestos shingle roof which was original to the building.

After evaluating the damage, the team decided the asbestos needed to be abated before they could replace the roof. The church selected a slate look, 50 year single which resulted in a finished product that complimented the historic structure.
